Questions parents and schools ask
Quick answers
How does an AI programme protect children’s data?
By collecting little and keeping control with the school and parents. Nothing about a child is saved before verified parent consent. Children in Classes 3–5 have no AI accounts. Data stays in India, is never used to train AI models, and parents can view, download or delete it.
Where is children’s data stored?
In India. Children’s work and records are stored in India and are never used to train any AI model. The school is the data fiduciary under the DPDP Act and AI Flywheel is its data processor. Full documents are published after legal review.
Who do I contact with a concern?
Our grievance officer. Parents and schools can raise a concern about a child’s data or an AI feature, and a person answers. The grievance page explains how to reach the officer and the response times we propose. Use our contact form and choose ‘A concern or complaint’.
