Robot says: the sandwich game

Every lesson ends with one check without AI.

  3. 3Together they fix the steps and try again

Questions about Classes 1–2

Quick answers

Should Class 1 children learn AI?

Yes, in a playful, unplugged way. In Classes 1 and 2 (ages 6–7), children sort and match patterns, tell picture-card stories and give exact steps to a floor robot. They learn that machines follow instructions and can get things wrong, long before they use any AI tool themselves.

Do Class 1–2 children use screens for AI?

No. Flywheel Play is unplugged: cards, paper and a floor robot, with no AI accounts. At most, the teacher shows one AI picture on the class screen so children can spot what is wrong. Children in Classes 1–2 never log in to any AI tool.

Are there marks for AI in Classes 1–2?

No. There are no marks for Classes 1–2. Instead, the school gets a termly picture report showing what each class made, by stage. Each lesson still ends with a simple check done without AI, such as each child drawing three robot steps in order on paper.
